I am 41 years old, married, have 2 grown children and one grandson . I have an awesome husband and we love drag racing . I have really let myself go the past few years, I am trying to take charge and be accountable. Wish me luck !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Back on track
I have really been through a lot of stress lately and I have not done well. Food is my comfort along with alcohol. I endulged in both. I went back to my ww meeting monday and was relieved to find I only gained .8 of a pound. I am not going to stress over this I am just gonna start a new day each day. I am praying hard about the stresses in my life and my alcohol desire. I don't drink daily nor do I want to . I really just enjoy the taste of beer and enjoy the comfort it brings . I am trying to not substitute food for answers or resolutions.

Feeling empowered
I did really well on the ww points system and even in this short period of time I am very aware of where I have been going bad wrong and I am amazed my jaw never hurt from shoving so much food in my mouth . I feel empowered to have joined a program , and I enjoy this site so much I know someone understands my food issues . I am trying really hard to stay focused on the future and trying to be around for it . Lesley

procrastination and addiction
I just want to say thank you to all who posted a reply to my procrastination and addiction post ! It has meant so much to me and motivated me . Today I joined my local weight watchers group so I would have structure and accountability . And I noticed that one of the first things I checked on the foods list was alcohol . I guess my list of issues was bigger than my waist line . I thank every one of you for being honest and helpful . I even had a beeer before my meeting , it was like just one more before i start this diet thing . Crazy as it sounds you guys have helped me address more than one issue in my life . procrastination and addiction
I realize today no I admit today that I am addicted to food and I tell myself every day I am gonna make some changes . And I don't . I Today I am , if any one sees me on the site try to keep me in check . Lesley
