i had a pretty good weekend as far as my eatting, Sunday was a little difficult b/c the kids wanted to order pizza after carrying up drywall.....but i had a light breakfast and since i had pizza for lunch i only had cucumbers and Tomatoes for supper, which was more then enough...So i am down 2 lbs, it's not alot but i am happy it's a start and i feel so much better this last week.

Aug 16th
Had a really good day, breakfast was a small bowl of corn flakes, mid morning snack was low fat yogurt. i went out to lunch with my sisters and we ordered a pizza filled with veggies and thin crust, i had 2 small pieces and they ordered a three cheese dip, i just had a little taste of that and i did treat myself to a ceasar(drink)i have had a stressfull time with my youngest son and i deserved it.For supper i had tomtoes and 2 pieces of pemale bacon and no snack. It's been about 2 weeks now since i have touched and pop, i always drank diet pepsi and its been hard, a few times i thought oh i will buy just one but i know i will want it all the time. So after i lose 10 pounds my first reward is going to be 1 diet pepsi:)......i am only going to weigh myself every Monday, but i did sneak on the scale this morning(17th).....and it read 226.so thats 2 pounds in 3 days.i was happy!

Last night i made a great supper, i made the baked porkchops from the recipes of HEATHERD's own diet. They were awesome, they were tastey and moist, could actually cut them with your fork. Our side dish was rice with tomatoes, green onion, mushrooms and red peppers and yellow beans.It was filling and didn't leave me feeling hungry still. i didn't use any salt or butter, with all the veggies in the rice it was nice and flavorfull adding the tomatoes really helps with flavor. Later for a snack i made light popcorn and drank lots of water throu the day.It's amazing how quickly you feel better when you stop putting all the junk into your body.

Joined this group Aug 13th and decided to start a new diet Aug 14th, but i actually did really good yesterday. Veggies and a little cold pork for lunch, drinking lots of water and a big salda at supper, loaded with veggies and chicken and Paul Newmens Oil and vinegar dressing. Later for a snack toast with cinnamon on it, took care of any cravings.So off to a good start, feeling a little hungry now, but drinking water usually takes care of that.:)
