Lost my nintendo do-hickey so I have no idea how much I'm walking right now, though I know I was only averaging 4000 steps a day!
I went to the market yesterday and stocked up on healthy fruits and veggies and then immediately went home and prepped them. I think I'm going to need to start a new weekly routine to make this all stick.
Sunday: Weekly Planning for tasks and meals.
Monday: Money planning/Quicken Updating.
Tuesday: Grocery Shopping and Prep. The Farmer's Market is on Tuesdays in my neighborhood.
Also, I've decided to start planning meals around the vegetable rather than the meat. Yay. Made spaghetti squash and meat sauce marinara last night for lunch today.

The weeks are just flying by! I'm going to try to go for a walk after my American Cancer Society Meeting. I have so much going on right now:
Housewarming Party
Texas Hold'Em Tournament Fundraiser
Paint the Town Purple PR event
Relay For Life
Defending against 2 insane lawsuits
Behind on financials
Omg, my head is going to explode. I need a mental health break.

My hubby went out and bought Personal Trainer: Walking for the Nintendo DS and we set it up last night. It's this little electronic pedometer that determines your liferythym and how many steps you've taken in a day.
It allows you to make a daily step goal and will flash green when you've met your daily step goal. The only benefit I can really understand from this program is that it makes you want to get out and be more active because there is somethingo n you that's constantly tracking you.
As far as I can tell it's about 2500 steps for every 100 calories so I guess I can dial in my caloric burn to integrate into my exercise tracking.

Augh, how is it possible that I'm gaining weight?! I'm eating less, more veggies and water. This had better be water weight. Thinking about doing the 3 day diet just to get back to my start weight. I am SO FRUSTRATED.

I still have 3 rooms worth of boxes to unpack that are actually incouraging me to get out of the house and wokrout so I don't have to look at them anymore. I went to the gym last night with my husband to a brand new 24 hour fitness sport.
Let me just say, I have been working out in some ghetto gyms because when we walked into this one I was floored. New cardio machines I had never seen (arc runner?!), new weight machines that use flip tabs instead of those stupid metal sticks that sometimes don't fit and something akin to a barcalounger recumbent bike that has a fan at the fron, adjustable arm rests and a flat panel TV in front of each one.
Plus, you know, it's in a mall parking lot which makes walking around after the workout even more fun. Yay for the cool down. I'll be seeing that gym again real soon.
