I just juiced for dinner. No one wanted to cook, so I made juice.
My husband never wants to go out for dinner. It was a very hard afternoon with my mother. Her dementia is getting worse and everything that could go wrong, went wrong today. I spent 5 hours putting out 'fires'. Hopefully Saturday will go better than today.

I just made fresh juice in our new juicer. Beets, carrots, apples and celery. It was delicious! I may be hooked on juicing.
The only part that is hard is listing it in my food diary.

I drink a chai latte every morning, I don't like coffee, but love my chai. It is about 140 calories that maybe I can live without. As soon as there is no more chai concentrate in the cupboard,I'm not buying anymore.
We got a juicer the other day and we are going to start juicing. So my drink of the morning, unless I cave, will be fresh vegi/fruit juice.
I hope that it will be a good day today.

I got up at 6:30 this morning and got on the scale. It really feels good to have lost a little. I've really been putting a lot of thought and energy in to this. Still can't get to the gym because of having to be 'on call' for my mom. The visit with the Hospice nurse went well yesterday.
We bought a juicer yesterday and we (my husband and I) are going to start juicing. After watching Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead it really made us think about our health. I don't want my MS to get bad, or have another exacerbation.

I wished for snow and we got it! I just got in from shoveling for an hour and I am far from done. We got about 5 inches overnight and it is still coming down. After an appointment this morning, the snowblower will have to come out. My husband would leave early for work and not shovel. But, it's really good exercise!
The Hospice nurse is coming to evaluate mom this afternoon. It is a mixed blessing.
