I'm 73, and have struggled with my weight all my adult life. In December 2017 I did a ten day fast, and since then I've done intermittent fasting and OMAD, but weight loss has gradually slowed. I'm happy with the 30 kg I've already lost, but have just started ADF (Alternate Day Fasting) with a view to getting another 30-50 kg off! So I've revived my old fatsecret account as I have nice memories of this site, and if YOU are doing ADF or even IF, feel free to make contact!

Females over 50 - Lose 100 Pounds
Seems we all have a different slant on things, but I'm in too. Hope I get updates by virtue of the fact I'm replying... I've lost over 80lb in the last (almost) 2 years, but have been stuck for months. Just switched to a 2MAD protocol, but referencing the leptin diet principles, I'm leaving 5-6 hours between each meal. And big change, I've stopped daily weighing, and am gonna leave a whole month between my last and next weigh-in. I'm 74, and determined to get below 200. Seems an impossible dream right now. But looking Karimitch's post, I'm wondering, where is the nutritional guide? I must be blind. I have not noticed that on FS.

Hiya from the Newbie
Sorry for being seven years late with my reply, but I've only just joined FatSecret and this forum ... disappointed at the lack of activity when a search revealed that there are 100 members doing this diet (or WERE -- perhaps they've given up?)

Anyway, if anyone is doing alternate day fasting, Eat-Stop-Eat, JUDDDD or similar, feel free to respond! We need each other. I'm in this for the long haul! And I mean long. I need to HALVE my body weight, and that's after already losing 30 kg with intermittent fasting for the last 20 months!

I'm sure I can do it, with ADF.
