Hi! I just started my diet a couple weeks ago. I started off over the summer weighing 175 lbs. I've never been that big before in my life. I was always into sports and I was a cheerleader in high school. Since then, I have been married almost 3 years and my husband was deployed all of last year--when I REALLY started gaining. Well, after my husband got back, we went through some rough marital problems, and I ended up moving back home for a month and working with my aunt cleaning houses. I lost about 15 lbs working for her. Thats how I got my headstart. Since then, I hadn't really paid much attention to my weight or a diet, but I didn't gain all of that weight back. However, I just recently got a great job and my self-confidence is starting to increase and I really am starting to feel good about myself, so I want to look the way I feel. I want to have a great body to go along with my great job and my now-great marriage! I want to be healthy and not overweight anymore. Since I started my diet, I've lost about 7 lbs. My diet consists of me cutting myself off of soda and limit my junk food, and since I have such a sweet tooth, this has been very hard for me. I am also getting up and exercising more as well as watch what I eat. I am also cutting myself off of fast food, too. That's where my main problem is, the fast food and the soda. But, so far, cutting that crap has been paying off!
