Well life just gets better- not! My joints are just not behaving....Osteoarthritis in my right knee, weak right ankle, 2 toes won't bend on my left foot- possibly arthritis and I'm having alot of pain in my right thigh at the moment, who the people at the local hospital say is muscle pain. On top of that apparently my blood pressure is borderline high, all good fun....
So I have weighed myself this morning and now I will try to remember to fill in my food diary daily.

Last week I went to UK BioBank for a catch up. The company is following residents of the UK through their life re their health- I had a brain scan (I still do have one),
my neck, lungs and stomach, also my bone density were scanned. I didn't like the last scan, only because when I got the report I have 42% fat mass and the result is border line high blood pressure. A couple of days later I went to see my local physio because I have toes that don't bend- so it's possible that I have arthritis in my left foot, as well as in my right knee. I have now to go and see a podiatrist about this. It all puts me off walking which probably accounts for the weight increase etc.Today I went to watch one of my grandsons in a drum corps competion, hence the eating/ exercise day today.

At last- a whole pound lost! I had alot of pain when I planted brassica plants in the allotment. I can't crouch down or kneel down to do any gardening, but one of use forgot this when we went to a nursery and saw the plants. We are having alot of slugs in the allotment because of all the rain and mild weather, so any seedlings that come through are quickly demolished by the slimy little horrors. So, back hurt, ankle pain, and thigh pain is a result.... Not alot of walking or any other exercise has been done, but I still managed to lose a whole pound, don't know how I did it, but quite pleased.
