GOOD MORNING FS BUDDIES!!

Well, we didn't get to the gym last night:( Got home around 5, cleaned the kitchen, had to go pick up daughter from her friends house, got home to make dinner, finally got to eat around 7. By then, hubby was totally beat from the previous days workout and his early rising and long work day, so he sat down on the couch for a 'rest' and ended up falling asleep :0 I went ahead and did a calisthenics workout here at home (after picking up my other daughter!), so at least I got something in :) We do plan on getting there tonight. I told him I need to work my legs because my shoulders are so sore that I need to even it out :)

Did fairly good with eating. Had lunch with my oldest daughter but wasn't thinking and when she asked where I wanted to go, I said Taco Bell. Would have been better if I'd only had 1 soft taco, but still wasn't thinking and ordered (and ate!) two. As I was eating, I told my daughter we should have gone to Subway. Then I got home and entered in my tacos.... 12 points for the two of them!! The rest of the day was good, although with that amount of points for lunch, I did end up using a few of my weekly points.

I will be visiting two of my stores today. Have to work on doing some more interviewing at one and just some management follow up with the other. We are instituting some new procedures in some of our stores and I will be working on that tomorrow. May do some of my evaluations this week as well. I have about 6 days of vacation time coming that I have to use by the end of the year or I lose it, so I have to get those figured out. Hmmmm....

Got some more of my house organized and more boxes emptied. My hope is to get it mostly done by Thanksgiving. Still have pictures I need to figure out where to hang and a living room with no furniture in it, but it'll get there!

Well, gotta get ready for work, so talk to you all later!!

Have a successful day!!

GOOD MORNING FS BUDDIES!!

So, especially after my 'official' weigh in yesterday and being told that I actually had to PAY for my meeting because I am now more than two pounds above my WW goal weight, I had a good day yesterday. I ate well, journaled it all, and went to the gym! I have to say, I am very proud of my hubby and I-- we didn't leave the house to go to the gym until after 8 pm, but still spent an hour doing strength training and another 20 minutes on cardio. Got home around 10, in bed by 10:30 or so, and slept like a rock!! Normally, we would have made excuses to not go because of the late time, especially since he had to be up at 4:30 this morning ;(

My hubby sometimes works out with a friend or two for about 2 to 2 1/2 hours. As late as it was last night, it was just us two, so we worked out together doing a mostly chest routine. I really enjoy watching him work out. He is pretty strong, and already has the build of a body builder (wide shoulders, muscular legs, etc.) I think if he gets on a good workout and eating plan, he would tone up fast. As for me, he worked me good-- He doesn't push me too hard, but with him there, I don't give up as quick as I might on my own. Anyway, it was a good workout.

Since the kids don't have school today, both girls spent the night at friends houses, so my son is the only one home this morning, and he's just going to enjoy sleeping in today. I am off to work in about an hour, but only for a part day out of home, then have to get back here to finish up. Have to work with my 'problem child' today-- I'm trying to mentor and coach one of my managers, but having a really hard time. Wish me luck!

I guess that's about it for now. I'm going to finish up my oatmeal and tea then get ready for work. Can't wait to get to the gym tonight!!

Have a successful day everyone!!

GOOD MORNING FS BUDDIES!!

I'm sitting here breaking one of the big WW rules-- eating while doing something else :( At least I'm eating oatmeal and drinking tea-- good for me stuff.

I'm going to go for an 'official' weigh in today. I think this may be the first time since I became lifetime that I may have to pay for my visit due to being over my limit-- I'm not supposed to go above 152, but my scale here says 154! I'm a little frustrated by it as I have gone to the gym 3 times this week for at least 1/2 hour of cardio each time as well as a leg workout once. I feel like I ate well for the most part, yet I'm still showing this higher number. Plus, it's so cold out that I HAVE to wear some warm clothing, so that will add a little... Oh Well!! I'm going to start tracking points TODAY and continue going to the gym, get back on track about taking my vitamins, etc., and I know I'll be fine!

Have to take care of some plumbing issues at one of my stores today. It's not cool when you have to ask your employees to try not to use the bathroom because you don't know if it's going to back up or not :(

Hubby and I were supposed to have the day off together today, but he got called in for some training they need to do for a big job he has coming up, so I'm going to go to my weigh in then go shopping for curtains. I am looking for curtains to put on my sliding glass door and my kitchen window.

Bought some of the stuff for Thanksgiving dinner last night. We are planning a spiral ham as well as a turkey. I'll cook here and have my SIL and her two boys over, as well as all 4 of my kids and hopefully my sister and her 3 kids. I may try to have my brother and his family come down from Tacoma, but, unfortunately, my mom and youngest sister will both have to work that day since they work at Old Country Buffet, so they won't be able to make it.

That's about it for now. Hope everyone had a good weekend and looking forward to a successful week! Talk soon!

GOOD MORNING!!!

Back from Cali and completely immersed in work the last few days. I have so much going on right now-- getting a promotion just over a month ago, moving into a new house a week later, finding out that 4 of my 7 stores were being sold a week after that, a crazy Halloween, a quick 2 1/2 day trip to California, and a week of helping out with the transfers of my old stores to the new owner as well as attending a day of meetings yesterday ~~ On top of all of that, there was my daughters b-day party, trying to get my new house organized, cleaning the old house, not to mention the day to day stuff like laundry, sweeping, meal making, etc, etc, etc... Now there's stuff like Thanksgiving to plan for, my oldest daughter's 18th birthday on the 28th, and our wedding anniversary on the 21st. Whewww!!! It's definitely a good thing that challenge is what keeps me going, or I'd be down and out for good! :-)

Hubby has started getting himself into a workout routine again. He has been to the gym 3 times this week, and I went with him once. His going will help me get motivated~~ we're having trouble with my membership right now, though. I hate stuff like this... we pay the monthly payment, but since I haven't used this one much (we have two memberships and I had been using the other), when they built a new gym and made it a 'step up' from the other one, my membership is not good enough and they want me to pay even more now! Hubby had been going before the new one opened, so they automatically gave him the bump up~~ He's going to get it all figured out so that I can get going again. It's gotten so cold here all of a sudden that I really need to be indoors to get my workout in. ;{

Had meetings all afternoon yesterday, then dinner with our team. We are all 'field' team, so we only get together a few times a year, but we have so much fun together! I am the youngest of the group, and 4 of them are men who have decided they need to be like surrogate fathers to me, but we all joke around a lot and they have been great about accepting me into the team since I started. Anyway, we went out for Mexican, so of course I had to have a margarita, then another, and had some really good dish called Pollo a la Crema-- I only ate about 1/2 of it, so I don't feel like I did too bad, but definitely not as good as I should have.

My oldest daughter started her new job yesterday. A little while back I mentioned that she had gotten laid off at her full time job. Two days later, she got a call from the head cashier of a car lot that is part of the same company she used to work for. They are giving her fifty cents more an hour and 40 hours a week with a set schedule. Not bad I don't think! Her and her roommate are looking for a new apartment since their lease is up. It's still kind of strange to be talking about her as an adult-- I sometimes miss her being at home, but she's doing fine.

It's about time to start getting the other 'chilluns' off to school. Hope everyone's doing well. I don't get many replies to my sporadic journals and I don't get a chance to sit and read journals much anymore, but I have not forgotten everyone here and how nice it has been to be able to turn to all of you during hard times. Thank you!
