This has been not so good a 'take care of me' day, but I'm here posting, and I've closed down the kitchen for the night. Even though there are cookies in there!
I'm going to bed early. I want to have the energy to head to the gym after work tomorrow.

Second day of eating better and I'm feeling good. I have not exercised today but I ate very well. No candy in the late afternoon! I am not working (we have had snow days all week here) so that may be helping. That is, I'm not in the same old routine of snacking after my students leave in the afternoon since my days are at home.
I also have not eaten after dinner, which honestly has not been a huge problem for me in the past anyway.

This website has already motivated me to go to the gym today! What a great start.
And I have two buddies. Thanks for being so welcoming, everyone.
Here is to staying consistent and not losing hope when I slip.
