I feel like today is cheating a little for weigh-in. I have a little bit of a stomach bug and won't be surprised if I gain some back before the end of the week.

Everybody wants to blame the scale. turns out it actually was our scale. I've been sticking to the way of eating and still the scale has either not been moving or adding a couple tenths of a pound here and there. yesterday was the last straw when it reported that I gained 7 lbs overnight. It got replaced with a highly recommend one and now my weight seems to be on track.

I tried to do it right in the morning, but I knew it was going to be a bust yesterday. It's all good. April 27th was our 6 year anniversary, and I asked my wife what she wanted to do. Originally: Italian, then Hibachi. We had to delay our celebration by a day - visited her dad near NYC on Saturday. No big deal, we did Italian with them and I demonstrated exceeding self-control with avoiding bread and pasta at a place known for their bread and pasta. No biggie for me, even though I grew up with Italian food, we ate *real* Italian Food - there was pasta, but the star of the dish was always fresh fish, meats, or the vegetables. Anyhow, I made some poor choices last night, balanced by the good choices on Saturday. I guess if I left the rice off and forwent the gelato, I'd have done pretty well.
