Avocados - portion size for Phase II and III
Does anyone know approximately how much guacamole 1/2 an avocado makes? I'm thinking like a 1/4 cup. What do you think?

Not sure how to get started
Welcome. I just joined this site as well. Here is what I have been eating for the past nine days. This is my last day of phase 1. I weigh in tomorrow. I can't wait to have beef tomorrow!!!

Breakfast:
1 cup oatmeal
6oz yogurt
4 egg whites

Snack:
Veggies and fruit

Lunch:
1 cup rice
1 cup beans (I switch it up between refried beans, and Randall beans mixed with baked beans)
milk
salad and dressing

Snack:
Fruit and veggies

Dinner:
1 cup rice
1 cup beans
vegtable of some sort
milk

Snack:
6oz yogurt
fruit

Question on Rice
Is long grain rice the same as white rice? My wife went to the store the other day and got me some Uncle Ben's long grain and wild rice pouches. I'm wondering if they're ok to eat. Thanks, Jim

Sample Day - Would like feedback on food.
What are folks doing for food? I'm still on phase one for 2 more days, but here is what I'm typically eating.

Breakfast:
1 cup oatmeal
6oz yogurt

Snack:

For phase 2 I know I will have more options. I'm looking for options in the bean and rice area as those are getting pretty hard to choke down. They make up a good portion of the daily calories, so I'm just curious what everyone else is doing.
