Quinoa???

MS in Human Metabolism here.
Quinoa is a grass seed from South America. It's sort of revered in health food circles because it's the only plant protein I can think of that is "complete"-- it has all the essential amino acids.
If you just want to compare the nutrition info on quinoa and brown rice you can go to google and type in "compare quinoa to brown rice". A side by side comparison should pop up. That will give you a good sense.
Just an FYI -- quinoa is a little bit higher in calories than rice (most vitamins/minerals too). It is higher in fat, and protein content. Depends on what you're looking for.
