It is fast approaching summer time...aka bathing suit season. I have struggled with my weight for a long time and I think it is time to put an end to it. I use my weight as an excuse for why i cant find guys, why i lack self confidence. Until i deal with my weight issue i can't move on to deal with other components of my life. I think diet and excersize have to go together. My first challenge is going to be 25 days on the atkins diet, 16 of which i have to work out during. I am hoping this will help shed 10-12 pounds. Getting me within ten pounds of my goal. From there I think I may try this P90x workout program I have heard about. With this rigorous workout routine I can tone my body, lower body fat and induce a healthier lifestyle that will make those last 10 pesky pounds melt away : ) It isn't easy, as a young professional i am eager to get out after work. Enjoy happy hours, socializing with friends and spending the money i work so hard to earn. But i also know that now is the time in life when i can and need to look my best. I have the world to impress at this age and i need to start getting into the game!!! Day 1...I can do this : )
