isn't it funny how many people rant here on journals, which has nothing to do with them but because they didn't like someone else's journal. what's funnier is others on your buddy list will chime in like it's a posting competition within your clique.
it's okay to have an opinion, but beating your opinion to death isn't making you any thinner. it makes you all seem nuts. did i say nuts, i meant cheesecake anyone?
in my defense, i do vent about what i call pathetic posts from bloggers who talk about cheating every day, and blaming it on everything but their fat fingers shoveling food in, however, i don't use this as an open public forum to get attention. this is why i block all replies.

i will be making some changes in the next few days. it's hard for me to see the same old comments, and excuses i see on fs everyday. if you're not serious about getting fit and healthy, rather fronting and playing the "i don't know what happened" game it's not helping you, or me, because i need serious people to turn to, not a bunch of cheaters.
i get amazing support from my group, but sometimes it's hard sticking to one group and seeing the same people every single day. sometimes i just want to see how other people are getting to goal, or what is working for them, but what i am finding is that there are just maybe one or two people outside my group who really want to be here and are losing, so i don't really venture out.
it would be nice, if others took note of what their group is actually doing in regards to helping them lose weight, maybe there would be more successful groups that actually had real live participants, not a large number with the same 2 people piping in.
i was one of those idiots who joined a monster group, but how were they helping anyone lose weight? how are the moderators helping anyone make goal if they can't do it themselves? how many posts do you see from the all the members of your group? none, because they quit the first day. does your group care if you come or go? that to me is the difference between beating this, and letting it beat you.

even with the recent setbacks of friends who failed me, and a recent gain, i am back on track. i have less than ten pounds till goal, so i must stay focused and not get too comfortable. things have slowed, but it doesn't mean i won't get there. for those who keep cheating, it's likely you will ever utter these words.
at some point, you finally have to stop glorifying food as the end all be all. no one cheats then has a good day, so why give in to it? for me, i love myself and learned enough from bc that cheating is not an option. choose your online diet buddies wisely. stop hanging with enablers who cheat every other day, they aren't doing you any favors saying hang in there, when they've lost and gained the same 2 pounds since january!
