I guess I should weigh in. I lost nothing in July. It was a challenging month. My weight went up 3 pounds, and back down.
Gaining was not a good feeling. 😐 If I can just maintain this for a few years, I think it will be smooth sailing. I understand why everyone says maintenance is challenging. The work hasn't ended it just changes. I'm going for my annual with my doctor next month. that will be a fun visit. My doc was a batistric surgeon and totally keto. he's so dang smart. I'm lucky to have him to bounce ideas off of. Everyone, get moving and be awesome losers today 😆 I'll do a before and after post in September. This is Tigger. He's my kettle bell 🔔 i have to carry him on our walks when he poops out. Good for my strength 💪

I decided to try to make shirataki / Konjac noodles again. I usually press them through a noodle press into water but the clean up is a pain. Soooo, I thought, what if I just drop a whole blob into the water and put in my food processor to make a shirataki rice. Welllllll, It WORKED WHOOHOOO. I seasoned my ground beef with garlic, ginger, soy, a Little swerve brown sugar and chicken bouillon. I think I'm going to cook in a big chunk and slice and make a lasagna sin real noodles 🤣

Steady she goes. I'm now portioning my food by sight and weight. I weighed out 6 oz of meat but it looked like a lot, so I put some on my lettuce and it looked like too much. I'm trying to eat 2 x a day and not over eat in maint. a few more pounds to go.

Chix Parm. was really good. This maintenance is HARD, but I'm doing it. It's much harder than I expected. Hopefully over the next year it will get easier as my body adjusts. never give up
