This is my homemade electrolyte mix. I was hesitant to use Koolaid, but I'm sure it is similar to many other artificial flavored mixes on the market. I add liquid Stevia when I add water. Liquid Stevia does not spike my blood sugar like powdered Stevia.

I haven't done carnivore since the 22nd, and it shows on the scale. That's ok. I realize that I've not been drinking my electrolytes, and I'm having more dizziness than usual. I made a new batch of my homemade mix. It costs under 15 cents per 12 oz serving. I wonder if there's a way to post a pic of the recipe?

I'm continuing carnivore another week. Now, it's more like carnivore for 3 days and low carb (30g a day) for 1-2 days. My blood sugar is staying in the 112-140 range. Carnivore seems to be the way for me to lose weight and keep my diabetes under control with Trulicity. It's another cool weather week, so I'll be doing yardwork all week on three properties. Looks like I'll be able to post this before the draft disappears, like so many others. If I accidentally move my phone too fast, the draft disappears.

Another week of carnivore. Then, I'll go back to low carb for 2 weeks. In case you missed it, I'm hyperinsulin resistant. If I eat 1200 calories, I will gain 5 lbs in a week. So far, eating carnivore is the only way I can lose weight, other than pumping iron. I don't know if I can do weight lifting, but I'll check out the gym and see if it's for me at age 70. Yes, I talked to a doctor about not losing weight on 900 calories, and he shouted at me to eat 500! I've been on low carb (30g a day) ever since 2019. That's how I keep my blood sugar down to acceptable levels.

I've been on carnivore for a week. Lost 3 lbs. The nice thing about carnivore is that I don't feel hungry. Every four days, I enjoy a plate of stir-fried julliened cabbage with crayfish etouffe, or some other topping.
