I'm 62 and live on the beautiful north coast of NSW, Australia.
I've been conscious of my weight since late teens, and am the typical yo-yo dieter. However the last 10 years have been my worst. I found W/Watchers successful several years ago, but slowly and surely regained all I lost and added more to the grand total.
At 5'5" I got to 165lbs (74.6kg). I have never attended W/W meetings, I figure I can do it myself and think this weekly weigh in should be a great incentive for me.
My youngest daughter (I have 2) has been inspirational: always a "big" girl, she is now a slender, willowy 5'7" and has maintained her weight loss for 3 years. If she can do it, I certainly can.
I am sick of hating myself.
It has been a slow slow decline for me this time. I started at the end of September and am now down to 139 lbs (63Kg). I'd like to lose another 10lbs (5Kgs).
I hope to find lots of tips and recipes here.
