Well, I have been a complete mess and some of my hard work went right out the window!

I had an awful allergic reaction that put me into the hospital and they gave me adrenaline and steriods (THE WORST)! It took weeks to feel even slightly normal...I think I would rather die than take steriods again. They have all kinds of weird side effects. I was so upset about the water retention and not being able to work out. I gained 5 lbs in 2 days while on steriods, you know its water bcz you can see it and feel it so you instinctively drink more water only it just stays in you and you feel worse. I drank 32oz of cranwater during a movie and didn't use the bathroom once...TALK ABOUT GROSS feeling.

I was maintaining at 118-119 so well and then CRASH! So now....I'm at 124 and 16.8% bodyfat and the work to put it back in place begins. I have banned alcohol completely until I reach my goal bodyfat 11% and weight 117.

I am back to the old grind of weights and treadmill with yoga on the off days, low calorie diet, and cranwater on higher water retention and carb days. I get 1 free day and week.

Thanks to all of you who checked on me. I am BACK and happy to be here again. I miss everyone! Now I'm the one with my nose to the grindstone again! ; )

I have finally gotten back into a regular routine! I got in every workout last week and played tennis 4x to-boot! I Pulled my left quad though on Sunday and that has stopped my tennis dead in it's tracks for a few days. I did yoga yesterday and it was PAINFULLY there but not anything crazy.

I cancelled my hitting session at noon today and think I will do yoga and my weight routine in it's place. I will walk at an incline on the treadmill and if it can handle all that....I'll take the court by Thursday! I REFUSE to slide backwards....tennis is too hard to pull back together after a break! WAY TOO HARD...and frustrating...I beat my old racquet over the side pole after 2 weeks of TRYING to get my serve back. GOD IT FELT GREAT! My husband just laughed. If I could post a picture, I would...only feeble strings holding the top half to the bottom half...it's hilarious! Good thing I needed a new one anyway! lol!
