26 July 2024
This has been a hard week. For no apparent reason I went back up to 76.6 and just below and stayed there until this morning when I dropped back into the '75's'. I guess it's just a glitch but when I am are trying so hard and nothing is happening I tend to get a bit despondent and down, especially when I'm feeling ravenous and my husband is having so little food because he has no appetite.
Still no point in moaning we have both lost weigh and long may it carry on.
Happy weekend everyone

I'm very happy with another loss 😊 it has been hard work but I am feeling good, physically and mentally.
I feel my movements are very slightly more fluid and I am so pleased. I have found that my movements and gait have become more stiff and robot like with my fibromyalgia and I feel very self conscious when I am out in public.
My husband continues to lose weight and is feeling better too. I'm so proud of the way he is approaching his weight loss this time, he's very committed and enthusiastic, of course it helps if you don't have any appetite 😉
I'm ready to face a new week in a very positive way.
Hopefully everyone else is having a good week🤗

I know I should be happy that it's another loss and I am really, but I have tried so hard this week, I was hoping to creep into the 76's. I have increased my walking. I am now getting up earlier while it's still relatively cool and going for a brisk (well brisk for me 😉) walk, which to be honest is turning out to be a good start to the day as I have been feeling more energised. I still crash in the afternoon and the evenings are when I really am not able to do very much at all but that seems to be the pattern my fibromyalgia is taking at the moment. I have learnt to go with the flow and rest when I need to (although I dont really have a choice) and when I have energy, embrace it and get things done.
My husband is getting on well with his injections and really doesn't feel hungry (I am so jealous) He is losing weight steadily and is trying to walk a little each day. I am very proud of what he has achieved because I know he is in a lot of pain but still keeps smiling.
It's so much easier when you are both committed to trying to lose weight
I will hopefully continue feeling upbeat and positive and we shall see what next week brings
Have a great week 😀

I'm very pleased with this week's weigh in. I have worked very hard and plan to increase my exercise, fibromyalgia allowing. I know that this is going to be a long slog, but it's worth it.
My husband needs 2 knees replacing and a hip joint but he will need open heart surgery first. He has been told that he has to lose a considerable amount of weight first so he is being put on appetite suppressants to help him. I try to be as supportive and encouraging as I can and know how poorly he is but I must confess to being a little envious of this addition to his weight loss regime as I am constantly hungry and could eat a scabby donkey (as my father would say) 😂
🤞🏻 fingers crossed next week is a good one for everyone
