When I eat a big breakfast it sets me up to over-eat all day. Starting out with a bulletproof coffee for my first calories is just about right for me. When I time-shift all my meals to be later in my day, it lets me go to bed not-hungry and helps me not "bust the bank" on a midnight snack. I don't really understand why so many people like to eat big in the early hours. That's when my body and mind are most able to stay busy and ignore an empty stomach. But to each their own.

planning Ahead
I work an oddball shift (3 pm to 11 pm) so all my workday meals get put in little one-cup dishes in the freezer. I cook a big batch of something or other (could be curry, could be chili, could be stir fry) and divvy it up into little meal-sized portions. On my way to work I grab four of them from the freezer, weigh and enter the grams into Fat Secret, and I'm off!
