I'm telling you, I've been on a roller-coaster...it's been up and down. I lose 5, I gain 5. I have to admit I wasn't being consistent with my exercise, so that's why. I know I'm serious now. I've been doing Jillian Michael's 30-day shred. I really like it. I still love doing P90X, but there's some days I don't have time to do a full hour. Her workout is 20 minutes...doesn't sound like much, but it's an intense 20 minutes. There are no breaks. I'm hoping this will boost my metabolism and help me jump back into the P90X. I feel confident that I'll have my weight back off by the summer. I want to look cute in my shorts ya know!!! :)

I was doing so well till my friend's birthday on Valentine's Day. I ate one piece of cake and it all went downhill from there. The result is a 3 lb. gain. Oh joy!! I'm so discouraged...I can't seem to get back to where I was. I feel like I'm stuck. I'm going to start Jillian's (the one from Biggest Loser) 30-day shred. I can view the workouts on my OnDemand at home. The workouts are about 20 minutes, so I have time for that. This new dog of mine just takes up all my time when I'm at home. He won't let me do anything. I really do feel like I have a child. I'm going to get that workout in today if it kiils me.
Back to my fatsmash way of eating today...I want to look good for summer...oh, and I'm recording my album on April 16-17th. I would really like to be in shape by then. Keep your fingers crossed!

Whoo hoo...one pound!! hey, I guess it's better than nothing. Actually, I've lost about 5 lbs. in the last 2 weeks, so that's good. I think I've finally gotten over this viral thing that's going around. Everyone is sick right now. Seriously, just about every person I know is or has been sick within the last few weeks. I finally feel up to working out. I'll probably either do Turbo Jam or go to boxing...haven't decided yet. I've been eating well, but then again, I haven't really had an appetite lately with being sick and all. I'm excited to get back to where I was before by this summer. I want to look cute in my shorts and skirts. Hope everyone else is doing well. I'll check on ya!!

Sorry I've been gone a while. My hubby and I have both been pretty sick and just laying around the house. He's been sick since last Wednesday and I started feeling bad Sunday night. I went to work, but about 3 hours later I left for the rest of the day. I felt so run down and icky. I still haven't completely gotten over it but I'm here at work anyway. I've been doing pretty well on the eating...really haven't had much of an appetite, but of course I haven't done any exercise due to feeling so bad. My equilibrium has been off, so I'm not chancing it dong any extensive exercise.
Other than that, not too much going on. I'm singing in both services at church this Sunday so I have to be better by then. I guess we'll see.

Ok, so yesterday was day 1 of my new way of eating...of course, I mean Extreme Fat Smash way of eating. My hubby and I had a chicken salad last night. It was so good!!! I went to the gym on my lunch hour yesterday...it felt so good. I'll be doing that again today. I used to go everyday at lunch about a year ago...not sure why I stopped. It's weird, it actually makes the day go by faster...or so it feels like.
Here's my meal plan for today:
Breakfast: 1/2 cup oatmeal and an apple
Snack: granola bar
Lunch: 6 oz. low-fat yogurt and an orange
Snack: 1 rice cake
Dinner: chicken with veggies
I'm back baby!!!!
