Good morning everyone,
I have to admit, I was pretty annoyed when I saw only a 4 oz loss, but I then realized I'm replacing fat with muscle, so the scale is not going to go down much. I am losing inches like crazy...every week, my clothes are getting looser and looser...I love it!! My hubby and I worked out with Shaun Kelley on Friday and boy did he kick our butts!!! I first put on a 50-60 lb. vest and walked on the treadmill at about a 7 incline. My calves were screaming, not to mention I was breathing heavily...but it felt so good!!! He put us through a rigorous ab and arm/shoulder routine. I thought I was going to collapse when we were done. I then went to boxing that night with my SIL. I got 2 great workouts Friday. I was so sore on Saturday, I can't even begin to describe it. I actually woke myself up out of a dead sleep when I turned over in the bed. The soreness woke me up...that stunk, but hey, it reminded me that I did something. This week will mark the first month into this new way of eating/exercising. I will do my measurements this weekend and see just how many inches I lost. I'm so psyched about all of this. I can't wait to see the "final product"!!
I felt bad for my hubby b/c his b-day was Friday and we didn't do a cake or anything. I told him I would make it up to him when we reached the 3-month mark. He has done so great...no cheating. I'm back into jeans that I haven't worn in close to a year...what a great feeling!!
I'll be doing my biggest loser dvd tonight and maybe a toning dvd.

Good morning all!! Not too much to report...it's been same ol' same ol'. I did the biggest loser dvd last night and will again tonight...that is if I don't decide to go to boxing. I've been asked to head up a women's class there. It'll consist of cardio kickboxing, punching on the bag and helping them get correct form when using the gloves. I might incorporate some yoga/pilates also. I'm pretty excited about it. It'll definitely force me to keep up my workouts!! Still eating well too...I'm almost at the end of week 3...I can't believe it. I almost have 1 month down. Hopefully the rest of it will go just as fast. Not that I'm wanting to pig out or anything, it's just that I wouldn't mind a little more variety in my meals. I really miss all the fruit I used to eat. I would eat at least 2 pieces of fruit a day...now I'm limited to 1/4 cup of berries. Don't get me wrong, I love any kind of berry, but I just wish I could have a little more than a quarter of a cup. :)
It's my hubby's 37th birthday tomorrow...unfortunately, no cake for either of us...we'll make it up after the 3 months!!

I bought some water pills last night, b/c I think I may be retaining water. I drink a gallon of water a day, so I wouldn't be surprised if my body is holding on to some of it. Still doing good on the diet and exercise. I did the biggest loser dvd last night. I just love that dvd...it's great cardio. I can't wait to see what the scale will say this week. My clothes continue to get looser on my all the time. I have so many jeans in my closet that I have not been able to wear...I'm ready to break them back out. The lowest size I was before was a 6. I liked myself there, but wouldn't mind getting down to a 4...that way, I have some play room.

Still doing great on my new way of eating. I killed my arms at boxing Friday night. I'm still sore in my biceps...it was a great workout. I also worked on my muay thai kicks. I'll be either going back to boxing of do my biggest loser dvd at home. I feel so much lighter on my feet. I'm still a good ways from where I really want to be, but my clothes are fitting better and I just feel so much better in general. I hope everyone else is doing well.

Still doing everything 100%. I know I'm losing inches b/c my clothes are getting very loose on me. My hubby even said he could tell. He told me my neck was looking longer and my face was slimmer. I've lost in my waist and hips...thank goodness!! ;) I will weigh myself again either Saturday or Sunday and post on Monday. I'm still drinking over a gallon of water everyday, so needless to say I'm in the bathroom a lot. I've been doing the Biggest Loser workout and it's a pretty good little workout. I love all the lunges and squats we do with weights. I feel my legs and arms getting stronger every day!!
Hope everyone else is sticking to it...let's all beat this for summer!!
