Soft drinks and depression.
Officially there is no link between the two, however some articles online have suggested there is. Since I stopped drinking this crap (coke/diet coke/energy drinks, etc.) I feel much better and happier about life in general.
I don't believe I was in a deep depression, but I do notice a big change, not just physically but mentally for the better.

I dont know what the ingredient(s) are that may cause this depressing feeling, but there are so many chemicals in these drinks that we the public has no idea about, and definitely unaware of the side effects they may cause.
Its not far fetched that the producers of these drinks want you to become addicted to it, and yearn for more of it like an addiction. If you feel good without it, theyre not pleased, since they dont profit.
They would rather you get that down feeling when you dont have it, then the sugar and chemicals within will give you an artificial high when you drink it, that will keep you coming back for more. Just like a junkie drug addict.
I'm not a doctor or a health expert but putting a stop to putting dangerous chemicals in my body is a good choice.

This has made me think twice about anything I buy to eat/drink. Read the ingredients and nutritional value of anything you consume, If you see lots of chemicals or ingredients that you have no idea what it is, avoid it. Chances are high that these ingredients were placed in the food/drink to get you addicted for more, or to enhance the taste artificially, simply to sell more of their product. I'm trying to avoid any food/drink that was produced in a factory. In today's food market it is nearly impossible, but im trying and my body and mind are on an upswing.

For those of you who cant go a day without drinking soft drinks, I feel for you and have been there. Be strong and stop it, it will take a few days, maybe few weeks but I believe you will feel much better without it.
Thats my rant for the day, Coca-Cola Co. I hate you.
