broke my 19.5 hr fast @ 1 pm with this plate of deliciousness 😋 if you havent had or tasted Chayote (the green veg with onions) you must! Ssooo delicious, refreshing, light and satisfying all (including sm. veg chilli and coffee around 425-450_ give/take)

this is why i do not beat myself up for eating what i enjoy once in a while. I am nowhere where i used to be nor am i where i want to be (weight wise) but damn, i have come a hell of a long way and im happy 😊 282 then, 215 now...to be continued

breaking my fast with mock "chicken" salad romaine "roll" with half slice provolone and a cup of vegetarian chilli. im not vegetarian but all my meals are meatless since i sacrifice meat for the 40 days of Lent

food prep to break my fast: Mock "chicken salad" its mashed (with a fork) chickpeas with red onion, garlic, celery, cayenne for spice, 2tbs sour cream and lots of fresh dill and lemon juice, fresh cracked black pepper and a kiss of pink himilayan salt 😋
