How Often Do you weigh yourself?
Once a week for me, sometimes twice on saturday and monday.
For a while I only weighed on the first of the month, which was actually pretty successful for weight loss.

Whats the best substitute adiction to a food addict?
You could always try delaying tactics - decide that you'll allow yourself something later, get it ready and leave it out (unless its ice cream of course!)
If you still want it later, eat it, log it and move on. If not - small victory to you.
