Staying focus on my goals through the weekend will be a challenge. Have to power-wash my huge deck and do yard work. tomorrow is weigh in and I am a little nervous, but will take what the scales say. I just feel so bloated today. Very low energy.

Appreciate all the advice yesterday. I have been getting up every hour from my desk and I am feeling much better. I am not sure if I mentioned I am also trying to drink at least 8-8 ozs of water at work, so when I get up and stretch I will try to drink my water then too. I have been told to drink 1/2 my body weight in ounces... I figured that up and that would be 161 ozs that comes to 20-8 ozs of water. My goal is to get the 8 cups in first and then try to increase slowly after that. Anyone have any advice?

Went back to work at the college part-time yesterday. It was tough after being out for a month. I am tempted to ask doctor to send me to physical therapy because what little muscle I had, a month off my feet, I lost. Just walking into the office is a chore. Short of breathe and back tightens up. It's an administrative position so once I get to my desk I am fine. I set my computer for every 2 hours to get up and move. It is hard because I am stiff. I get down because my body it breaking down, but I have hope that if I just stay focus and journal my daily goals then I will have success and at least have somewhat of a life. Today I just feel sad.

Today I will make a list of daily goals to care for myself to get my strength back by getting up and move for 10 minutes every 2 hours. Having gout episodes has keep me off my feet on and off for over a month. It will take effort or discipline on my part, but I desire to be stronger. I will be patient with myself and know it takes time, I know Rome was not built in a day.
