Wrong side of 65 and one heart attack two years ago since, means I have to be careful - if not cautious of my weight. Six weeks ago I started my diet and intend to lose 1kg per week until I achieve my chosen weight of 95kg. So far all is going to plan with 6.8kilos lost. I've done it before and so I know the score. The trouble with getting older is that it is easier to be complacent, not worry too much and go with the flow. I took my eye off the ball and with diabetes looming decided it was time to get a grip and carry on living life to the full - for a lot longer.......
