I went to a nutritionist last week. She measured my body biometrics, and while I’m disappointed at 40% body fat, I am thrilled to find out I have 110% more muscle mass than is expected for my height, weight, and age. I’m also nearly symmetrical.
She told me I’m low on magnesium which could be a cause of my migraines, fibromyalgia, and chronic constipation. She also told me I need to eat more calories and protein. I’ve been meeting the protein goals so far, but not the calories. Also, I’ve had a migraine since yesterday, but I’ve had a bm three days in a row now, so the magnesium citrate is definitely working for something!

I went on vacation a couple weeks ago. I stuck to my diet very well, but I wasn’t as physically active as usual. Then last week everyone in my house got sick (I’m still sick) so I feel like I’ve done next-to-nothing the last three weeks. I’m weighing myself tomorrow at the doctor, and I know I’ve gone up at least five pounds. Part of it is due to constipation; I’ve got an appointment with G.I. next month, as that’s a chronic issue. But despite having eaten right, and the fact that coughs burn about two calories each, I know I’ve gained. I see it in my face.
