Lesson learned. Even if I'm swamped with work, I still need to make time for myself. Last week, I couldn't make it to the gym, barely had time to log on here, and taking the ten second to weigh myself just to keep myself in check was the last thing on my mind. Gosh, and never mind planning my meals and logging everything I ate! I think, however, that even with all of the stress, I didn't go too far over my RDI. In the past, I would "make myself feel better" with a Twix bar, or a pint of ice cream, or a bag of chips, etc. I didn't do any of that last week, so I take that as a win. I'm still crazy swamped with work, but I'm going to make a better effort at watching what I eat and logging my food and my weight. And my goal is to make it to the gym at least twice this week. I'll also try and record a journal entry or two, but you all have to know that I like reading all of your entries because it keeps me inspired. So, I may be quiet on my end, but I'm still with you all in spirit. We can do this!

swamped at work, can't get to the gym, TOM approaching, and I just want to eat everything! would it be okay to crawl under a rock and stay there for the next two weeks?

is it possible to get together with friends and not eat a lot of food? with the delicious meals and desserts and snacks and the constant grazing? sheesh! but we had such a fantastic weekend and I don't want to ruin this feeling. I have learned however that I still have a lot to learn about my lifestyle change.

Morning weigh-in after a huge delicious Mexican themed dinner the night before and a simple breakfast of eggs and sausage. I wish it had been turkey sausage, but the Kroger was all out.
