Had bariatric surgery in 2017 on July 12 at 225 pounds.
I had gone down to 180 pounds after surgery, but prior to being released for the surgery I was very anemic and eventually had 5 blood transfusions within about 10 days. After the surgery the same thing happened with the anemia and had blood in my stool. I had many tests done and the bariatric surgery was ruled out. The anemia and symptoms eventually stopped. I broke my arm in 2 places in October of 2017 and at this date I am still doing physical therapy. I feel I didn't get a very good start on my weight loss journey.
