Keto Dieters, any out there?
I put myself of a Keto diet, after gaining weight after breast cancer... I gained 40 pounds after diagnoses within 18 months. I was so depressed, and I just worked, ate, and went to my room at home. I have had 6 surgeries in 2 years, and I have more to go... I started exercising again, and want to build muscle, but I have to be careful for now (2 surgeries in the past 60 days)
Finally I decided that enough was enough, and inspired by my Daughter's weight loss, I am on the Keto Diet.
First my daughter Sarah told me is to find a Keto Calculator online and figure out what my targets are... so now I have a daily goal to meet. Honestly I thought the diet would be harder, but so far it is reasonably easy to follow (although I really miss getting fruit at the Latino fruit carts with chili and lime...mmmmmmmmm)
I find that keeping track of what I eat is the best way to weight loss.
If there are any other Keto dieters out there it would be a nice community to start and maybe even have some challenges.

Low Metabolism?!!??!
I know what you mean! I am on 1200 calories, AND I walk every day... and still no weight loss!!! I hate that!! Anyway, I plan on increasing my activity. Loosing weight over 40 is a pain!

FELL OFF THE WAGON
Everyone has those days!! Just snack on low calorie stuff... like keep strawberries or fruit all ready to go. Also, the 100 calorie packs of low calorie (Smart Pop by Redenbocker) is a great way to snack with less guilt.
