Today's breakfast was rather empty for 300 calories... shrug.
I need to stop experimenting with packaged foods! I felt fuller when I cooked egg whites and half a bagel. Tomorrow will be better.
I had a good lunch and a great dinner. I added psyllium to my protein shake to help keep me feeling full. It made the shake really bulky and I needed a spoon.
I feel really good, I wish I could loose this weight faster though. After graduation I will go back to the cabbage soup diet for a week to drop more pounds. After that I should go back to counting calories. Actually its easier than I ever thought it would be...

Okay cereal for breakfast sucks! I was starving a half hour later! From now on its all protein baby... half a bagel and 4 egg whites... that fills me up for hours.
Today I didn't feel like exercising but I did anyway. It has been so hot, maybe thats why I dunno.
Oh and Shitaki noodles ROCK!!! I tried them today. A whole package (8 oz) is only 40 calories! WOW!!! And they taste pretty good... just need a little salt.
I think I will try them with marinara sauce next. Yummy!

I am really surprised at how much I am eating on a 1200 calorie diet! Yesterday I had 3 meals, desert, and a snack! I think the key is eating the veggies and meat that gives me the most bang for the buck (so to speak)
The hardest part is at night though... This is the real danger zone for me. All I want to do after 8pm is EAT EAT EAT! What is up with that? Anyway, last night I had a 100 calorie pack of popcorn (Orville Redinbocker kettle corn) and that helped. Actually I thought it was a lot of food for 100 calories... and it helped soothe that desire to snack.
This last 20 pounds of my weight loss journey has been the hardest. Backsliding really got my attention. I am almost back at the weight I was at last summer (151) and I want to get to 135 or less by mid summer. I hope I can do it!

Yesterday was the first day that I went over the 1200 calorie limit. I just went over a little so it wasn't that bad. I really need to do something about nights... the overwhelming desire to snack is really terrible. Last night I had a small bag of smart pop kettle corn, about 110 calories. That helped... but still i need to resist!

No weight lost yet... but I feel good. I am counting and writing down all that I eat. I have started exercising, and I am desperately trying to get Philip to exercise too.
Tonight I will try to ride my bike for at least 30 minutes.
