The mileage is adding up.
When I started riding in April, 7 miles was a difficult thing to do.
Today I did 37 and could have probably done more.
There's a lot about this I don't understand, but I'm working on it.
Each day I'm showing substantial deficits in calories.
My daily goal is 2560 for my size and weight to slowly lose a pound a week. That's without exercise. My exercise calories burned is usually substantial. (today 3188) So 2560 + 3188 = 5748 calories I could eat to slowly lose that pound.
An example would be yesterday.
2560 + 3318 = 5878 I ate 3299. The difference is 2579 calories.
Yet I was able to get back on my bike and do another 37 miles today. Strange stuff. It would appear my body is pretty efficient at burning fat.

I didn't have the presence of mind to take before pictures of my weight loss. Honestly I never thought I would lose it. Live and learn.
The 1st picture was taken at my father in laws 90th birthday party, July 2014.
The second I took this morning. I'm still going to lose another 20 lbs. It should be interesting.

I went out on the back yard deck and recreated my profile picture.
The original was taken May 12th.
I didn't realize how much I've lost in 2 1/2 months until just now.

Absolutely a great ride this morning!
The weather cooperated with a nice 71 degree clear sky.
Started around 7 am.

My company has decided to provide a personal trainer for one hour a week to select employees. I've been recording weight and blood pressure at work with the nurse for the last 8 weeks. So I get to participate :)
Should be interesting
BTW before I started cycling my BP was 145/86
Today it was 124/74. Sugar today was 87.
