Recovering from Lyme disease. Was unable to exercise at all in 2018. Quickly gained about 45 lbs. Riding to lose weight now, I'm always in a calorie deficit everyday.
The picture is at current weight with my dog Rex at the vet.

Well today was a good day. Late last August I had a really bad fall on the bike. Separated my shoulder and it put me out of commission for about 6 weeks. Some of you got to see the bruise I had on my hip, it was a doozy . My shoulder healed eventually, but I had no idea that I my hips had went out of alignment. I never got back to exercising. The plan had been to start swimming during the winter until I could get back on the bike. But I was in pain most of the time and never felt that I could get back in a routine. Three weeks ago I pulled a rib head off my spine. With my hips being out my spine tried to correct it, which of course couldn't be done. The spine twisted and of course caused the rib subluxation. A local chiropractor figured out my dilemma and started treatment. So today I actually got on my bike for 14 miles pain free. That's why today was a good day!

A couple of days ago I purchased a Fitbit Charge HR.
Pretty pleased with it so far. I'm using it on my bike rides to see if I can fine tune my results.
This from today's ride:
Important stats 125 bpm average and that most of the ride was in the cardio category.
21.4 miles today

I just started riding again. The accident kept me off the bike for 2 weeks.
My ride today........
Not nearly as long as I would have liked, but trying to ease into it.
Pain is really a non-issue. The bruise looks a lot worse that it is now.
This was on Monday:
On a lighter note I purchased a Fitbit Charge HR and I'm really liking it!
