The last 5 years haven't been the best.
In 2009 I contracted Lyme and Bartonella from a tick while vacationing in Michigan. (Travis City area)
After a 3 year battle I started to feel better, then got hurt at work. I pulled three rib heads off my spine. (rib head subluxation) I gained a lot of weight during these years.
In January I decided I had had enough. I stopped drinking soft drinks and eating breads. The weight started coming down slowly.
In April the weather started cooperating and I started riding a bicycle,
7 miles each day with a cadence of 80. It didn't matter how fast I went, just that I kept that cadence.
Since January I've lost 33 pounds. Hopefully I can lose another 20.
