Great way of using zucchinis...
how about raw in a salad, always eat chopped courgettes (what you call zucchini) in my lunch salad most days. Have you ever tried a zucchinini cake as in a cake, taste quite nice google zuccinini cake if not google courgette cake. - trust me I work for the government ha ha

Under active thyroid
ho glo, you can also wrap surgical tape around the ankle and the other end of the chair leg and then raise the leg, this will give a little bit resistance (dependant on the length of the tape) to the quads which will help support your knee
@velvetice. With your hard core walking, how long is your leg stride and do you take long steps going uphill? sometimes if you over extend on your stride it can cause pain around the knee area

How much on average a week is good weight loss?
totally agree, measurement are soooo much better, On one of the journal notes 1 person only lost 5 pounds after really working hard they thought a bit depressing until they measured themselves and guess what 6.5 inch loss from waist, arms - now that should tell you something, scales are only a rough guide bit don't tell you the whole picture. 3d33 is quite right, weight loss is an individual thing, the isn't one solution that fits all that's why you have to keep trying with different things. What you could try and do if you are going to walk as a form of cardio and heart rate increase is to do it before anything to eat, that way you will have a small glycogen deficiency so you will hit the fat stores as an energy provider sooner. Good luck
