losing 0.5 lb a week

Haven't really been using fatsecret lately -- I've become pretty adept at knowing how much food I can eat in a day.
I'm now officially exactly 100lbs down from my start almost exactly 1 year ago. Another 15-20 to go to achieve 10% BF (somewhere around 17-18% now based on last DEXA).
I've fallen into a pretty good routine where I lift on M-W-F, and go bouldering on T-T-S. I switched it up after the lifting + body weight exercises felt like I wasn't achieving anything anymore. (No muscle soreness, no noticeable gains, no appreciable increase in muscle mass according to calipers). Adding bouldering seems to have restarted that.
It's been a fun process. I genuinely think I enjoy food MORE now that I eat way less of it. It's hard to explain, but when I was north of 300lbs, I'd sit on the couch and eat Doritos. The first few would be delicious. The next few would be good too.. then they were just.. there. It tasted OK, but the good feeling that came at the beginning was gone. Now, my snacks are a more tame pepperette, or a tablespoon of peanut butter, or a piece of cheese, but I enjoy 100% of the much smaller serving, am a little sad when it's over, but the little fix does the trick.
In the last year, I've done tough mudder, I've worked my way up to squatting 345lbs, I've watched the measurements of the circumference of my chest get progressively smaller, stop, and then start getting bigger while my waist and hip measurements continue to decline. I've watched places where I used to be able to grab a fistful of fat have gotten to the point where I can't even pinch the skin anymore because the muscle consumes all available space. Now I'm working on tackling much more difficult boulder walls.
This has been a hell of a progression, and I'll never stop. I don't ever want to be 'the fat guy' again. It's just not worth it.
