LOOKING FOR FELLOW/NEARBY WV PEEPS!!
Hi there! I just joined FS 4 days ago. I am looking for fellow or nearby WV/OH people looking to loose weight with a more local support system! I live in Jackson county, WV and I didn't grow up here, work from home, and admittedly am pretty shy in person, so for me meeting people around here has been pretty hard. I miss my old friends back home, but looking for a few new people going through the same thing I'm going through, closer to home for support and encouragement!
I'm 36, single work-at-home mom of an active and busy 9 year old boy. I work midnights so I struggle balancing time to sleep (very hyperactive barking dog at home), time to exercise and time spent with my son. I'm also going to start college again soon (one class first, baby steps!). I'm also dating a fabulous guy who is very encouraging and loves me the way I am, but is supportive of me wanting to improve myself physically and health wise. I'm 222 pounds according to my personal at-home scale as of 04/28/2010 when I first started this journey, but the Wii Fit weighs me in at a heavier weight, and my boyfriend's scale weighs me in at 4 pounds heavier than my scale. So, I'm not sure of my EXACT weight, but I figure as long as the pounds are coming off and it shows the same weight drop in all 3 scales if I choose to try all 3, then I will be happy with that!
My ideal would be to get back to my college weight of 130, but at this point in my life, I'd take 140-150 as well! That would still be a 72 pound weight loss!
I hope to find some closer guys and gals to follow/encourage and be encouraged, inspire together, and most of all be supportive both ways! We can do this!
