Question: May be silly but I'm confused slightly
i am the same. I am confused about the caloric burnt and caloric not burnt. so like mmw1 I just 'take it with a pinch of salt'. although I am under the limit of 1400 calorics I know for a fact I am not burning more than that.

looking for help from others with hypothyroidism
I too have low thyroid and take levothyroxine 100mg. I also have rheumatism arthritis and I am struggling to find the balance of not over doing things before I get tired or have a flare up. it is the same with food, I am struggling with my weight and since being diagnosed I have felt very low and turned to food for comfort. however I have come a long way in changing my eating habits, and now am trying to lose the weight. exercise is my issue as I find it difficult to move about, so getting around to say swimming is quite daunting. walking is painful after 20 minutes, so any suggestions would be appreciated. after looking here, I am motivated to lose the weight cos I have spent too long feeling sorry for myself!
