Being unemployed for as long as I have [a full year, now] has not boded well for ... really, anything.
Boyfriend started on a low carb diet and has been successfully losing weight so I am starting on it as well. I'm three weeks in and haven't really lost any weight on the scale OR seen much fat "melting" however my muscles are getting to be quite toned under the remaining layer of fat. I have only "cheated" twice [as in going above 50g carb in a day, not -ridiculous- cheating] so I feel like I should have seen more progress. Bother :(
