Back to the gym. Looking forward to being under 200 pounds again. Seems it is taking forever and if I'm lifting and getting some muscle back, it will likely take longer... but I know the game and how the numbers go. Tracking my calories with pen and paper more than the website. Sometimes it's more convenient until I want to look at the week and see how it was. Happy Sunday! 💕

Lake walk with the hubby and dogs and mowing mom's yard easily got me over 10k steps. Finally a break from the heat and this sky proclaiming God's handiwork was beautiful.

Today I went back to the gym. Normally when I'm gone from the gym, I've gained or stayed the same weight and haven't lost too much strength- just mostly need a few days to get back into it. Normally when I'm out more than a few weeks, I'm making myself go light because I know how sore I'm going to be and I want to ease back into it. This time was different. I went back weighing 40 pounds less. No doubt that some of the loss was muscle. Didn't have to tell myself to "go light"... I felt very wimpy but I'm proud of myself. Anxious to see how well my muscle memory will work. 💪🏼🏋♀️🤸♂️

Turned 50. Feeling great. Beyond blessed. Down about 8 since last month. Can't wait to get back below 200. It makes all the difference to me. Doc said today that I am 5 pounds from being out of the obese BMI range. Looking forward to being just regular fat. Still not lifting like I need to. Work is crazy again but I know that is just an excuse because there was a time when I wouldn't miss the gym no matter what was going on. It was always a top priority. ❤️🏋️♀️ Anyhow- that's the latest.
