PSA for VD.

TL;DR
If you are over 50 go get a colonoscopy because colon cancer is highly preventable through early intervention. It's mostly an unnecessary way to die.

What's for dinner? Shrimp, ribeye, brocco and Kerrygold? Nope! Going to have a liquid dinner... and not the fun kind. Prepping for the regularly scheduled colonoscopy. If you are over 50 just go get one, I've had many. To be a drama queen and to drive the point home, a family member died from colon cancer a few months ago. The last three years were not pleasant for them. If they would have had one colonoscopy in the last ten years(or even 20), they would probably be alive and doing very well today.

The colonoscopy itself is painless and you are knocked out. The only side effect is that you have gas in your gut when you wake up. (They do this to get better views) Note that I didn't say it was a bad side effect, hey, I'm a guy! The only unpleasant part is the prep. As a connoisseur of bowel preps, my cocktail of choice is MoviPrep. Way less volume to drink, painless and all action is done about twice as soon as the other name brand preps. YMMV.

Happy Valentine's Day, raise your glass with me!
