The Allowable Calories On This Site Seem High
I can eat 1700 calories and lose a pound a week. But I set my RDI to 1500, and keep it (usually) within 75-90 percent of that. If I only lost one pound a week I would get totally discouraged. I am losing about ten pounds a month. Since you are more active, I also would put it about 2000 calories. you should be able to lose weight with no problems there. Just try it for a week or so and see how you do.

the fat me vs. the thin me
Fat me will eat a donut if someone brings them in, even if she has already had Breakfast. Skinny me can say, "Meh, I'm good."

has anyone ever tried a fruit fast?
I can't do a fruit or juice fast for more than one day. If I don't have some protein, I get light-headed and nauseous. But that is just me.
