Been to the gym again tonight together with my BF... so far so good... We now plan to go every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, let's see if we can make this a habit!
I am struggling on the food front though, it's not easy to change a lot of things at once. So for the moment I try to focus on getting into a routine at the gym, once I am more used to exercising I will work harder at changing the rest of my lifestyle.

Been to the gym for the second time this week today together with my boyfriend. It's great going as a couple, I think, a real bonding experience and helps us to stay motivated! At first it was me pushing for us to go to the gym... it took me a LONG time to talk him into it! He had never actually been to a gym in his life, so I think he wasn't sure what it was going to be like. Finally he agreed, because he could see how important it was to me, and because I said I would pay his membership fees LOL... so we went on Thursday for the first time...
I was pleasantly surprised when yesterday, he said to me he was looking forward to going to the gym again today... Woo! I'm so happy he's enjoying it, so if I ever lose my motivation and enthusiasm hopefully he will be the one motivating ME for a change... and we'll both keep going...
Friday was my birthday, and while I did not have a party or cake I did not diet that day and went out for a three course meal, and had a glass of port in the evening too, all in all probably about a million calories. Hopefully today's workout has brought me back on schedule... What can I say, your birthday is only once a year and I could've done worse! :P

Really pleased: went to the gym yesterday with my boyfriend. We'll try to go three times a week. The workout was great, just what I needed! Feeling really positive at the moment. :D

Quite happy with weighing the same as yesterday as I was worried it may not have been correct lol. My boyfriend bailed out on me when it came to going to the gym together but he promised we would go tonight! Fingers crossed...

Really surprised at this morning's weigh-in result: almost 3kg down from a week ago, and only exercised properly once and tried to eat better. It must have helped that I did not snack in the evening yesterday and drank 2 litres of water as well as three cups of tea (with sweetener). But in my experience the first 5kg are easy, it gets tougher then.
The plan is for my BF and me to visit our new gym tonight for the first time and start our membership there. So hopefully I can continue successfully on my journey to become fitter, healthier and happier!
