Hey FS gang,
I am down 5.6 lbs. between Sep 6th and Oct 6th. I am OK with this.
That number would have been over 10 lbs. if I didn't spend 4 days ( Fri - Tue ) in Pittsburg PA for the "Just Guys - No Wives annual trip" with the fellas who flew from Mass, TX and FL to get together.
We saw:
- The Pittsburgh Panthers vs Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets ( Sat )
- Steelers vs Jets ( Sun )
- Pirates vs Cardinals ( Mon )
We ate, drank and were very merry.
I took my meds with me and had them in the morning and and night as prescribed.
I flew back on Tues and was back to the grind by Wed.
I will shoot for an additional 10 lbs. in Oct 6 - Nov 6 ( Aim high ) but I am confident that with planning my work and working my plan, I should see 4 pounds go bye bye this month.
Thanks for reaching out and your support.
Onward

Hey FS warriors,
While in the hospital, I was under the care of 2 MDs, a CNP, and the PA-C.
Here is AFTER VISIT SUMMARY provided to me on my discharge:
- Your labs studies were reassuring against active damage to your heart (Music to
my ears)
- You had a chest x-ray that did not show pneumonia
-CT scan of coronary arteries. Recommendations: CAD-RADS 1: ACS highly unlikely. Consider eval of non-ACS etiology, if normal troponin and no ECG changes. Consider referral to outpatient follow-up for preventative therapy and risk factor modification.
Echocardiogram of heart showed:
- LVH w/hyperdymanic LVEF 75%
-Normal RV
-Mild LA elongation
-There is no evidence of pulmonary hypertension (Music to my ears)
Q. What's my takeaway?
A. Take my BP pills, keep eating the silly salads and follow up w/my PCP.
That's all I got. Still tired from this event. Need to rest up today as tomorrow morning...
I am flying out to Pitsburgh for a [Just guys - No wives], no kids (well most of our kids are adults LOL,) 4-day getaway. E-scooters, bowling, karaoke, college football games, a possible baseball game. Last but not least, take my pills 😂 EVERY DAY
Thank you everyone 😊 !!!!!
