Metformin and weight loss
Hiya all,
I have recently been diagnosed with insulin resistance and have been put on Glucophage, AKA metformin. I have a diet plan from my dietician, but am not losing anything at all. I know that strictly speaking it isn't a weight loss drug, but was told to expect some drop in weight.I cannot have Ozempic for medical reasons and am not very mobile right now due to back pain.
has anyone had any success with metformin? I am NOT expecting miracles, but on a pain for gain basis it just isn't cutting it.

Not losing!
Don't worry- I get months like that too. I often hit a plateau but with time, patience and perseverance, it usually goes away and I start losing again. I agree, it is very frustrating though...

oatmeal
I adore oatmeal with milk, Stevia or honey. Always fills me up and I am never hungry after breakfast!
