Hello!
My name is Michelle. I will be 32 in January. I live with my amazing boyfriend in Indiana. I am trying to make a healthier lifestyle change, not find a fad diet to drop weight. In my mid 20's I did weight watchers, and was successful, but I don't want to count points for the rest of my life. I also know that by cooking healthier I am helping my boyfriend to be healthier as well.
My diet plan is quite simple. I have a calorie goal of 1200/day. I try to stay within a range of 1100-1300. Once a week I give myself a cheat day, which is usually my Taco Bell day. I drink at least 72oz of water everyday. My exercise consists of Zumba once or twice a week (depending if I am bowling that week) and we take our dog for walks a couple of times a week (usually 1-2 hr walks at a brisk pace). I am looking into the local gyms, I'd like to start strength training. I also have the Wii Fit, but got a little burnt out on it so I don't do it consistently.
I would like to get down to 140 lbs. That is a healthy weight for my age & height. My goal is to do this before the end of the year so I don't have to make my resolution "to lose weight" again. :)
