Eating Whole Foods/ plant-based really helped me to get through vacation fairly well. Weight stayed about the same and I'm actually glad to get back to doing my own cooking. When I cook I have a lot more control over getting all the nutrients and food groups. Besides using the FatSecret App, I also use Michael Greger's "Daily Dozen" to make sure my good groups are balanced. It means that I need to remember to log my foods on FatSecret, AND check off my list of food groups. I think it will be worth it in the end. I'm trying to eat a lot of anti-cancer foods and avoid cancer causing foods since I had breast cancer twice in the last ten years. It's all good now, but how I eat is really important.
