WELL!!! I found out I have diabetes! Not the greatest of news... but I am fighting it :) Gotta get my weight down and exercise some more and before long I will be okay. Got me going on some pretty heavy meds and testing 6 times a day, not to mention the STRICT diet that I am on, but hey - its all for the better :) Needless to say these last two weeks have been fairly stressful and packed full with doctors visits etc... and I still managed to lose just under two pounds to make my total just OVER 10 LBS!!!!! :D Anyways.. just wanted to make sure you all knew i was still kickin :P take care! xx Brooke

MY DOCTORS APPT.
What a day!! I went to the Dr. this morning, found glucose in my urine - big scare for diabetes as it runs in the family! This right here is motivation as it is! But then all the other issues I have been experiencing I have found that are either directly or indirectly related to me being over weight :( I can tell you one thing.. this visit to the Doctors office this morning def made me more certain that I NEED to do this! and I know I CAN do it!!
