i am 27 year old stay at home mother of three great kids , one who has special needs. I was told by my doctor to go onto weight watchers due to some health and stress concerns. Talk about a blow. Anyways my husband makes me feel gorgeous so i have a bit of a distorted view of myself i think i look great. I am fairly active but not enough i prefer the couch lol Since starting weight watchers 6 weeks ago i can already tell my cloths are looser, my skin looks better, and i am feeling better about how much i used to eat compared to how much i need to eat. The middle of the second week was hell but i got through it. I hit the wall during the third book because its about getting active. It would be easier if i had an exercise buddy but i need to bite the bullet and get goin wish me luck i am going to need it

Veggies
Eat a fruit or vegie before and after every meal. I usually have fruit with my breakfast and you know you just have to start doing it. I am in my 12 week and i am not missing my breads or starches as i did in the begining. Its all in your head you just have to change your way of looking at it. There was a saying at my last meeting someone shared with everyone. "Nothing tastes as good as success does" Trying telling yourself that when your munching on a piece of celery. Which by the way you can make taste a little better if you like peanut butter and raisins put that on top try it. Good luck and the first steps are always the hardest but you'll feel a lot better soon enough just keep at it Very Happy

Need to get back on track
i think you should not beat yourself up about losing track everyone does at some point. Just give yourself a pat on the back for getting back on it. You could have just given up but you didn't. Remember you didn't gain it all in one week so you can't expect to loose it all in a week either. Just hold your head up, smile and feel proud of yourself Very Happy

Tomorrow!
i think if you heard one of the meetings they look at weight loss as a mountain and each little pebble makes up that mountain. So each little pebble that falls off the mountain counts. Celebrate every ounce that you loose not just the pounds. It will help your self esteem. Also how long did it take too put on the weight 1 year or more that is how long you should give yourself to loose the weight. Don't expect a miracle if we could meet our goal in one week think about how much more you would gain back the week after that lol
any ways wishing you luck and don't forget to celebrate every little step.
